It’s a classic fairytale love story: Guy goes to prison for second degree murder. Meets female prison employee in the kitchen. Sparks fly, forbidden prison sex happens. Then, late one night, prisoner escapes by scaling a wall. Someone has attachment issues!
I joke, but this is basically what happened at at the Davidson County Jail in North Carolina. 29-year-old Kristopher McNeil escaped from the prison on Saturday night. He was serving a 14-year second degree murder charged, scheduled for release in 2018. A day after he escaped, a prison worker was charged for aiding him. Via WSCO:
Kendra Lynette Miller, 33, who began working at the Polkton prison in December, faces multiple charges connected to Saturday’s escape, including harboring a fugitive and aiding and abetting a fugitive.
Officials said Miller worked in the prison’s kitchen.
Public safety officials told Channel 9 that Miller was still in a new employee probation period when the escape happened. She was hired in December as a food service officer and helped prepare inmate meals.
Miller is also charged with having sex with an inmate and providing a cellphone. An Anson County Jail official said Sunday she did not have a lawyer. Her bond was set at $500,000, prison officials said.
Miller and McNeil are believed to have worked in the prison kitchen together, Walker said. Prison authorities believe McNeil scaled the fence at the minimum-security unit of Brown Creek, about 45 miles east of Charlotte.
It’s remarkably similar to the story of the big-dicked prisoner who escaped from the Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York. As you’ll recall, he was also sleeping with one of the prison workers. One was shot on Friday, the other captured yesterday.
Meanwhile, back in North Carolina, McNeil was recaptured and will now serve at Central Prison in Raleigh, according to WSOC.
The lesson remains: If you’re thirsty and work in a prison, deal with that before you get to work.
All this prisoner-prison guard sex is becoming an epidemic.
