Sure your car can do 60 mph in about 7 seconds and has an iPhone dock, but this Famicom RC car can reach 1 mph in just 5 seconds and can play Super Mario Bros 3. Top that Toyota.

The following, via Tiny Cartridge, demonstrates that when it comes to figuring out wacky new ways to repurpose old video game hardware, the Japanese are still miles ahead of anyone else…

Though on a related note is something from Portugal, which is like the above, totally flipped around. It’s an RC car that’s controlled with an old Sega Rally arcade cabinet…
