‘Political Kombat’ sums up the Presidential race nicely

By / 10.02.12

It’s amazing how a brilliantly constructed Mortal Kombat parody can tell you everything you need to know about this year’s battle for the Oval Office. Introducing… Political Kombat!

We’ve seen plenty of real deal games about the Presidential race already, and they all pretty much suck. From the lack luster graphics, to the gameplay that plays it way too safe. Hence why Slate‘s totally fake take is both awesome (in its execution) and frustrating (due to the fact that it’s not real).

According to the post: “In Episode 2, Romney does battle with Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul. Episode 3 imagines a fight between President Obama and Donald Trump. And in the coming weeks, we’ll stage a fight between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan as a prelude to a battle royale between Romney and Obama. Stay tuned.”

Please let this be legit info.
