And thank God for that because we were beginning to wonder.
Irrational Games has released a brand new trailer for BioShock Infinite, which to be honest, I almost ignored. Because I assumed it would be yet ANOTHER story trailer, and quite frankly, I’m getting pretty sick of those. Thankfully, that’s not the case.
Granted, not everything is explained, and a good deal of it is stuff we’ve already seen. But there’s just enough new footage, plus context, to give you an idea of what is what, and in a far more clear and direct manner than ever before…
Actually, the above is actually getting a certain degree of flack; some feel it’s too in your face and Hollywood, and is missing most of the mystery and charm of previous trailers. Whatever.
I know already that the story will be rich and thought provoking (dealing heavily with politics and dogma and social classes). That has been established since forever. So it’s finally nice to know that there will also be plenty of people to shoot, and plenty of things to shoot them with.
Because, at the end of the day, that’s what we ALL want from our first person shooters. Henceforth, my interest in the game has been renewed.!BioShock Infinite comes out on the 26th.
