With WWE Payback 2014 in the books, the federation is already promoting their next PPV, WWE Money in the Bank 2014.

WWE released a new promotional video for the upcoming June 29, 2014 Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Perhaps the federation is really feeling the effects of the dipping stocks because the production value of this video is less Industrial Light & Magic and more Microsoft Office.

WWE ‘Money in the Bank’ ladder match

The WWE Money in the Bank ladder match is arguably one of the most entertaining gimmick matches. Sure, thirty man Royal Rumble matches and Hell in the Cell battles are nice but there is just something amazing about the prize, in this case the Money in the Bank briefcase, hanging high above the ring like a proverbial carrot. WWE Money in the Bank is also popular with wrestling fans because the stipulation of a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship whenever the briefcase holder decided to cash in brings added drama to ever Raw, Smackdown and pay-per-view event.

Former WWE Money in the Bank ladder match winners include names like current champion Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, John Cena and Edge just to name a few. All of those men cashed in their briefcases for a shot at the gold — and came away with titles.

This year’s WWE Money in the Bank has all the makings of a classic with the myriad of names possibly attached to the match in 2014. The Money in the Bank ladder match can feature anywhere from five to ten participants and names like Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Rusev and members of The Shield. Those names can get any wrestling fan pumped for the next PPV.
