First Wrestlemania 31 poster features three part-time WWE superstars

The WWE’s tent pole event is still months away so everyone calm down about the first Wrestlemania 31 poster.

The first Wrestlemania 31 poster was “leaked” by the official website for Levi’s Stadium. Levi’s Stadium is host to Wrestlemania 31 and if you’re also picturing an arena full of men in stonewashed dad jeans you’re not alone. In fairness, I picture that all of the time. It’s odd. I’m getting counseling.

Anyway, Levi’s Stadium posted the Wrestlemania 31 poster and it features three part-time WWE stars — Dave Batista, The Rock and Brock Lesnar. The Rock and Brock Lesnar are really no surprise. Lesnar was on the leaked promotional poster for Summerslam and there’s a strong chance if he’s not the champion come Wrestlemania 31 he’ll at least be in the conversation. The biggest headline grabber from last Wrestlemania being on the Wrestlemania 31 poster isn’t a wuht? moment.

The Rock will be at Wrestlemania 31 and every Wrestlemania from now until he’s either no longer doing movies, no longer physically able to wrestle or goes to jail for Rock Bottoming the guy who said he’s not black. Also, no wuht.

Now, Batista…wuht? This is interesting. Either the WWE is banking on Batista returning to the main event picture in the time leading up to Wrestlemania 31 ooooorrr the WWE is banking on the fact that Guardians of the Galaxy is going to own the box office for the rest of the summer and Batista will becoming a crossover movie star like The Rock, Randy Orton, The Miz and Hornswoggle and three of those names are a complete elbow to the ribs.

Wrestlemania is the biggest show of year. WWE is going to bring in their biggest stars who don’t always ‘rassle. Everyone calm down.

If the next Wrestlemania 31 poster features Adam Rose, Stardust and special celebrity time keeper Dave Coulier then permission is granted to freak the hell out.
