I don’t know how diehard Washington Nationals fans even woke up today. Their team squandered away a six-run lead to the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, making it the biggest meltdown ever in a winner-take-all baseball game.
What I do know, however, is how they coped with the pain in the minutes after the implosion.
They coped with it by swearing … a lot. Take this fine gentleman, who interrupted the local CBS station’s coverage of the collapse with a few choice words.
While his viewpoint might not be suitable for broadcast news, it probably sums up the collective feeling of the fanbase to a T.
