James Franklin is very popular in Nashville. He led Vanderbilt to its first nine-win season since 1915 and re-established the Commodores as a threat to the rest of the SEC.

So it’s no surprise that a fan got all emotional at a recent press conference. After having a healthy amount of praise heaped atop him, Franklin invited the dude up to the stage for a hug.
