The United States Men’s National Team had never won a match against its biggest rivals on Mexican soil in 75 years of trying (0-23-1) – until last night. Despite being dominated for most of the night, the Americans walked away with a 1-0 victory thanks to an 80th-minute goal from Michael Orozco Fiscal and a couple amazing saves by goalkeeper Tim Howard.
While it was only a friendly, winning at the Azteca is a monumental step for Jurgen Klinnsman and company, who will likely play there in a World Cup qualifier next year.
MERICA! F*ck yeah!
