HBO’s thrilling show “Hard Knocks” peels back the curtain to show us some of the inner machinations of an NFL football team. Part of that includes highlighting athletes acting really dumb.

Take Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, for instance. Here he is just completely oblivious to which pro teams are in which division. His excuse is that he wasn’t a big NFL fan growing up. I’m not sure how that explains his inability to learn them once his ascension to the big leagues became inevitable, but OK.

This, of course, hasn’t stopped Tannehill from becoming a multimillionaire or signing a ridiculously hot woman to  a lifetime contract. So really, he gets the last laugh.
