Hey, remember last night when Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger clearly injured his shoulder on national television?  Many of us saw him walk off in pain after landing squarely on it and thought, ‘dude hurt his shoulder.’ Well, Rick Reilly wants you to know you didn’t know Big Ben was hurt until HE broke the news on Twitter.

ESPN cut back to the postgame wrap a little early and caught this awkward moment where Reilly pleads for the crew to credit him with breaking, um, some news.

Steve Young, for one, was less than thrilled about the whole thing.

Look, I like Reilly and don’t think all the shit he takes is warranted. He’s twice the writer I, or anyone else will ever be, but this just reeks of lameness.
