Real Madrid’s Pepe has a bit of a reputation as a theatrical player. What I mean is, he flops and writhes like it’s his goddamn job. He’s sort of the embodiment of why a lot of people don’t share my love of soccer. So here you go, haters. Here’s video of his tremendous dive and subsequent nonsense against Valencia on Sunday.  Watch as he kicks his teammate Avarlo Arbeloa for trying to make him stop acting a fool and the Sky Sports announcers’ reaction to the farce. It’s high theater, but closer to comedy than tragedy.
