I'm sure it's difficult to be a sports reporter and think of different and unique questions to ask athletes after their game. You can only ask the stale old, "What was your motivation for winning today?" so many times. That's no excuse, however, for asking asinine questions like former world No. 1 tennis player-turned-analyst Jim Courier asked Novak Djokovic after his win at the Australian Open.
Novak defeated David Ferrer in straight sets to advance to the semifinals Down Under. In Courier's post-match interview, he proceeded to ask one of the dumbest questions ever, inquiring if Novak breathed through his nose. Novak then made Courier's question look even dumber by saying, "As far as I know, humans are supposed to breathe in through the nose."
