Remember back in the summer of 2006 when a candid conversation between U.S. President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair at the G8 summit was picked up by a hot mic? President Bush caused a minor shit storm by saying he hoped the UN would "get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit." Well, this exchange between three well-known basketball announcers reminds me of that foreign relations blow-up. During last night's Heat-Hawks game, TNT's production team accidentally (we presume?) left the mic on Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, and Kevin Harlan when the announcers thought they were at a commercial break. Except they were live and candidly discussing all kinds of issues, including how bad the Hawks are. There's also Sir Charles calling Weight Watchers as a "scam," not because the program doesn't work, but because all he has to do to keep raking in more money from the company is to keep losing weight. It's all kinds of awkward, but great f*cking television.
