To say Colombian downhill mountain biker Marcelo Gutierrez has balls of steel is an understatement.
This amazing maniac decided it was a great idea to ride his bike down 1,000 steps and descend over 6,500 feet. The crazy Colombian competed in the Red Bull Downhill that took place on the foothills of Montserrate, a mountain right outside of Bogotá. Gutierrez finished this ridiculously bumpy track in a mere 4 minutes and 27 seconds. Unfortunately he finished a second behind Slovak mountain biker Filip Polc. You can watch Polc's less choppy, but still painful first-place finish here.
