You must watch this.

If you told me earlier today that the possible best sports play of the year would come from a baseball game between Lower Columbia College and Everett Community College, I probably would have been a bit skeptical. However what LCC left fielder Derrick Salberg did was absolutely phenomenal. During the first round of the NWAACC Baseball Championships Everett was down 4-2, but had a man on and their DH Keone Kala up to bat. Kala sent a rocket to deep left field and was about to nod the game up at four when Salberg strapped on his jetpack and made this sensational catch. The home run-robbing catch saved the game for LCC and put Salberg into the spotlight. “By far the best catch I’ve ever made,” Salberg said. “I was waiting for the bullpen pitchers to tell me I was getting close to the fence. Thank God I didn’t run into the fence, and I’ve got some hops.” Just one of the best catches you will ever see, then add that he saved the game and it's just epic.
