Yep, still got it. With relative ease the 48-year-old G.O.A.T. takes-off and dunks. It's funny, for all we have learned post-career about Michael Jordan, every time he is in the news I can't help but to think about how he lived in, and benefited from, the ultimate era for pro sports. You know, when playing and winning were actually the focus of sports news and these men were made into larger than life heroes. Today, it's all about velvet ropes and posture...wait, sorry, wrong thought. Today, society wants the dirt; the secret lives that often include lying, cheating, gambling, drinking, and other acts people like to file into the "unsavory" folder.
I don't know what would have happened to Jordan's career if he played in this era. I doubt he could have still been that same mythical, can-do-no-wrong creature as we believed him to be. But then again, we'll never have to find out... Barring that this isn't a tape from a "comeback" workout.
