Metta World Peace went into the stands again to have an up-close and personal encounter with a fan over the weekend. This time it was more amorous than malicious.
After blocking a shot into the crowd, MWP went to retrieve the ball, got distracted and wandered up to a lady sitting in the first row. He then kissed her hand, which is completely normal. I mean, would a crazy person do that? I rest my case.
"I just saw in her eyes that she liked the hustle," World Peace said after the Lakers' 99-86 preseason loss Saturday to the Utah Jazz at Staples Center. "I saw it in her eyes. We made eye contact."
