JaVale McGee must still be pissed he was robbed at the Slam Dunk Contest. Lob City went to Washington on Monday and JaVale McGee tossed an alley-oop to himself off the backboard in what would be the Wizards' 12th loss of the season. Coach Flip Saunders called the play “unacceptable” and limited the big man’s minutes after that.

John Wall agreed. "There was no point in doing that,” he said. “I know he was excited, but if we make a basket, that's all that counts."

I don’t see what the big deal is. You’re 1-11 and, trailing the Rockets by six at home, with a second win within reach. A flashy dunk could pump the crowd and your teammates up. Then again, the Wizards are the worst team in the NBA, and this is the same guy who was reminding everyone to vote for him for the All-Star game when the Wiz Kids were still winless.

Mixed up priorities? Probably. Benchable offense? Hardly. Whatever, I give the dude a pass after his Slam Dunk title was stolen by an ugly-ass Kia.

What does the Brommunity think? Sound off in the comments if you think McGee’s dunk was out of line.
