Something like this would never happen in American sports. An asshat on the field would be corralled with nothing but upper-body force. In soccer-loving countries, however, things are different.

This patrolman in Israel completed a picture-perfect slide tackle on this attention-seeking numbskull and instantaneously became a hero. I’ve got to imagine that having your pitch invasion thwarted in this manner is a little emasculating. Or maybe, just maybe, it was a very believable flop.
