This is true: Adults playing in kickball leagues receive way more scorn than anyone else playing a sport in a public place. (Except, maybe, skateboarders.) Think of all the "hipsters playing kickball" jokes that have been made over the years—the ones normally punctuated with a high-five—and think to yourself, Has softball ever gotten shit on this much?

The jokesters do have a point. There is nothing more quintessentially "the generation that won't grow up" than playing a game last played in elementary school. It's childish, you could say. Play adult softball like a man. And stop acting like you're doing anything genuinely athletic. We all know that sweat is ironic.

However, damnit, if this doesn't look like fun. The video above, which popped up on Reddit last night, is a highlight clip of one co-ed WAKA kickball team's season. It features a succession of beer bongs, several not unattractive girls, and, of course, ubiquitous rap blaring over a series of kickball highlights. I want to go there.

But first... I leave this question to any of you who either play kickball and love it, or never would be caught dead on those turfed fields—green with the white paper plate bases.
