We were spoiled by this amazing catch by Derrick Salberg this weekend, and now here's another impressive grab.

Pitchers aren't typically known for their athleticism and thus don't make great catches very often, but don't tell that to Joe Robie. During the Three Rivers Athletic Conference league championship high school baseball game between the Fremont Little Giants and the St. John's Titans there was a tremendous catch by the pitcher. The hitter was jammed and hit a short pop fly right in front of the plate. The catcher, Corey Tipton gave a valiant effort on the play, but wasn't able to make the catch. However Tipton did smack the ball in the air and that's when Joe Robie dove in for the spectacular barehanded catch.
