It’s the second-longest successful kick in high school football history.
Central Valley's Austin Rehkow is continuing to make a push for a spot on the all-state team with another incredibly long field goal. This time, after kicks of 52 and 56 yards earlier this season, Rehkow kicked a 67-yard field goal to tie the game at 55 as time expired. That broke a record set more than 80 years ago, in 1929,by Kent's Kelly Imhoff, who booted a 62-yard field goal that year.
The fact that it sent the game into overtime and allowed Central Valley to ultimately win makes it even more impressive.
