After Stanford held off Wisconsin to win yesterday’s Rose Bowl, ESPN sent it down to sideline reporter Heather Cox to interview Cardinal coach David Shaw. A complete live-television train wreck ensued.

For the life of me, I have no idea what the Rose Bowl rep pulling coach away was doing. Stiff-arming the television network that just spent an entire day hyping your product is not a good look.

Cox reacted hilariously, but her emotions are understandable.

She was able to get Shaw to stop for a full interview moments later so all is right with the world.
