Sadly, we haven't had enough Gus Johnson in our life since he left CBS for FOX's college football announcing team. So far this fall, the poor guy has been assigned to calling Big 12 games on FX. Thankfully, yesterday he called yesterday's Chiefs vs. Vikings game, giving us our first enthusiastic, rise-and-fire "Gusgasm" of the 2011-12 NFL season. In the fourth quarter of yesterday's game, Gus unleashed his typical brilliance while calling Matt Cassel's completion to Dwayne Bowe for a 52-yard touchdown. We can't wait until FOX promotes him to a regular slot in the NFL rotation. Check it.
