I wish the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL would do this so bad. If the Aussies can do it, U.S. pro sports leagues can do it. Think about it: Cameras on every ref in the NFL, a homeplate umpire cam in baseball, a ref cam in basketball that would show you what a disputed foul looks like to a ref. It would absolutely revolutionize how we watch professional sports on television.

This past weekend Fox Sports AU introduced "RefCam," a POV camerea attached to a rugby ref. The result is some brilliant up-close HD footage. This needs to happen.
