Former Notre Dame standout Golden Tate, who declared for the NFL draft alongside QB Jimmy Clausen a few years back,  put quite the lickin' on Sean Lee last Sunday. In the Roger Goodell era, this is a big no-no. 

Sure, the block brought with it the sort of boom usually reserved for NHL Hitz 2003 and Rob Zombie montages, but does that mean it was illegal? It's really tough to tell whether or not he lead with his head, and the slow motion seems to indicate, or at the very least suggest, that Tate exercised proper arm usage. With that in mind, is the fine simply a result of the fact that this would've gotten huge 2006 love from Sean Salisbury on "Jacked Up?"

Yes concussions, but also football. That is, after all, the game these dudes signed up for.
