Last night, the Bro in this video, Rich Tran, sent it to me with "Best Highlight Reel Ever" in the subject line of his email. Naturally, I opened it, because I read everything you guys send (yeah, that's it) and because only a monster doesn't love a good highlight reel. Then the video played, and I should have known something was up when his player bio flashed saying his max bench was 95 lb. and his max squat was 115 lb., but it wasn't until I saw him riding the pine during the first few highlights when I realized this shit WAS the best highlight reel ever, in the most  self-deprecating way possible.

Tran, a senior at Dominion High School in Virginia, made a video comprised entirely of his lowlights; nothing but him standing on the sidelines, shitting the bed on blocking assignments, and being out run by superior players. He did, however, log one tackle that I could see -- it probably saved a touchdown. Suffice it to say Rich Trans football career and future in the sport can summed up by a slogan on a shot glass I once owned: "boldly going nowhere." But at least he has a sense of humor about it.
