Even in soccer-loving nations, Eddy Bosnar isn’t a household name. What he did last weekend may just change all that. Playing for the Suwon Bluewings of the K League, Bosnar rocketed a free-kick goal that allegedly reached a speed of 121.68 kilometers per hour. That’s 76 miles per hour to the average American.

It’s a hell of a kick and it reminds us why defenders take great care to cover their nuts on set pieces. They’re just not as brave as this guy.
