Since moving to New York, I've started to actively look forward to the Tri-State Ford ads with Derek Jeter, to the point where I will actually stop fast-forwarding through commercials (a cardinal sin of DVR use) to see this hilariously bad one. Who would want that car? And, a more pertinent question: Is Jeter the most awkward athlete pitchman working today?

Now, I think we can see where the stilted delivery comes from. The Captain is doing his best to just remember the friggin' lines, as this blooper reel shows.
