A Chinese tight-rope walker performing a stunt hundreds of feet over a ravine with no harness fell on Sunday. Somehow, he didn’t die.
The acrobat, Aisikaier, was attempting to walk backwards while blindfolded. High winds caused him to tumble. The New York Post, who is reporting this story, is light on details describing how he escaped what should have been a deadly plunge. Apparently he landed “in a wooded area” and was able to walk to safety.
Amazing.
