After sitting on the bench during the morning rounds (which ended in a 2-2 tie), Bubba Watson—owner of the General Lee, patron saint of Golf Flow—stepped up to the tee box and motioned for the crowd to get loud. He made them keep cheering while he hit his drive, a move previously only seen in the seminal 1996 flick "Happy Gilmore."

It should be reiterated that Watson did this during the Ryder Cup. "Pretty unusual," Curtis Strange says in the clip. "I've seen that in pro-ams before but never at the first tee of the Ryder Cup." Bubba friggin' Watson.
