Given everything that's happened over the past few days, it's pretty remarkable that the Kansas City Chiefs pulled off a victory yesterday. Brady Quinn, now the Chiefs starting QB, led the team both on and off the field. Here, while addressing the Jovan Belcher tragedy, Quinn discusses the superficial forms much of our day-to-day interactions can sometimes take, and how it's easy to get caught up in a world where we sometimes don't actually realize the what those around us are going through, even if we do see them on a frequent basis.
Powerful stuff. Awareness is probably the most important thing when it comes to these matters, so it's definitely really important for coaches, team leaders, community leaders, and those currently having a rough time, to take these sorts of messages to heart.
