It’s hard for the average person to go out and throw a strike from the mound. You see proof of that before almost every game in the Majors when the ceremonial first pitches fly all over the place. Jeremy Feldbusch had tremendous control on his Opening Day toss before the Pittsburgh Pirates-Philadelphia Phillies game. Then again, he’s a giant badass.

Feldbusch, who was blinded by shrapnel nine years ago while fighting in Iraq, hasn’t let losing his sight affect his passions. He remains an avid fisherman and successfully lobbied Pennsylvania to let him hunt with a guide.
