This little girl makes it known loud and clear that she supports her daddy and his basketball team.
St. Johns guard Nurideen Lindsey was at the free throw line in the last seconds of their game against Texas A&M with a chance to win it or send the game into overtime. St. Johns was down by one point and Lindsey had two shots, but Texas A&M had a secret little weapon at their disposal. It wasn't thunder sticks or a witty chant, they had 7-year-old Anna Cate Kennedy. She is the daughter of Texas A&M coach Billy Kennedy, and he was about 30-feet from Lindsey, but it didn't matter because he could have been 300-feet away and still hear this noise.
Anna released a pair of shrieks that would cause dolphins to swim to Madison Square Garden. However the glass-breaking noise did the trick and caused Lindsey to miss both free throws. When the youngster was asked if she felt she was the reason Lindsey missed she responded confidently, "Yes, sir."
Anna has been doing it for a year or so, but Kennedy has told her to tone it down a bit on the road. No reason to tone it down as long as the team gets wins from it and she doesn't cause spectators in front of her to get tinnitus.
