Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves is good at dunking. He won the 2015 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. He’s also good at shooting free throws. He shot over 84% from the line last year.
But when you can just dunk from the free throw line, why even bother shooting at all? That may have been what Zach LaVine was thinking over the weekend as he lined up at the charity stripe during a Seattle Pro-Am game this weekend.
I’m pretty sure this move is illegal. (Doesn’t the ball have to touch the rim?) But if not 84% just became 100% thanks to some ridiculous hops. (It’s totally illegal…right?)
