If you’ve paid any attention to the MLB playoffs so far, there have been some moments that have helped define America’s Pastime—with the L.A. Dodgers Chase Utley’s dirty slide on Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada in Game 2 of a National League Division Series among the most talked about controversies.

“”While opinions on Utley’s slide are mixed, one thing that isn’t is the hate that Mets fans have been pouring out of their souls since the thing happened, with them mocking him on social media and chanting his name during games in New York.
Fans now chant “Buttley Sucks” cause of this lil’ gem. #ButtleySucks #LGM pic.twitter.com/u6VvgLshld — Devin Lintao (@DevinLintaoNY) October 13, 2015
Of all the burns, though, this young Mets fan might have had the best, making a sign that reads, “Utley U BUTT-ley,” complete with two poop emojis as a compliment to the text.
Now, normally, a sign like that might just be laughed at during the game and forgotten about. Not in New York, though, as Mets fans at Citi Field have fallen in love with the idea of making fun of Utley because of the rhyme, with some in the stadium chanting, “Buttley Sucks.”
Bathroom humor is always fucking funny, no matter who you are or what your age is, so nicely played, young Mets fan, nicely played.
