It's been seven years since "Wedding Crashers" hit theaters, but the same curiosity of random people hitting up stranger's weddings lives on and on Sunday an NBA player crashed a wedding.
Wizards guard Nick Young was staying at the Ritz-Carlton in Phoenix for Washington's game against the Suns on Monday night. Young was in the lobby of the hotel on Sunday when he started talking to some of the people in the Latif-Sidoiq wedding that was being held in the swanky hotel. The next thing he knows, he's giving a speech at the Pakistani wedding. Young told the Washington Post, "I just said, ‘Congratulations to the bride and groom,' " Young said with a laugh. "I didn't know nobody. I went in there and gave a speech. I was a wedding crasher. Will Ferrell. I didn't have nothing else to do."
The Lakers were also staying at the same hotel and it seems that the cousin of the newly weds was trying to upgrade the guest list.
I can't wait to see "Wedding Crashers 2," featuring Nick Young. Hopefully he wears something a little more formal than his camo cargo pants, socks with sandals, and a bright orange hat.
