Charles Barkley isn't the only professional, world class athlete with a fugly golf game. Yesterday Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo was recently caught whiffing hard on a tee shot during while hosting his own Orakpo's Leukemia Golf Classic at the Trump National Golf Club in Potomac Falls, Virginia. You'd think someone hosting his own golf tournament would have better form. We're not going to get too hard on him though since it was for a great cause. Plus, sounds like he's taking it all in stride. After his epic whiff, Orakpo reportedly said, "Man, this is harder than pass rushing." Redskins teammate DeAngelo Hall weighed in on his linebacker's golf game to D.C. Sports Blog. Take note at the not-so-subtle dig at kickers:
“I mean, it’s some guys that kind of look the part,”Hall said. “You know ‘Rak can’t play. He’s a little too stiff. You can see that in his play on the field, he’s a little stiff. I think probably my biggest comp out here is probably Graham Gano. Kickers normally can play golf, because they don’t have anything else to do.”
Check out the embarrassing swing-and-a-miss after the jump.
