USC Stood Up Georgia Tech at the Sun Bowl Dinner

The USC Trojans underachieved this year and national-title hopes devolved into a Sun Bowl appearance. But at least they’re pretending to be excited to play in the second-tier bowl game, right?

Not so much.

USC stood up Georgia Tech for a Sun Bowl dinner Wednesday night, reportedly showing up more than 90 minutes late for a function. By the time the Trojans party arrived, Tech had already left to return to its team hotel, apparently not pleased.

A later-than-scheduled practice was partly to blame, according to an online report from the L.A. Daily News. Regardless, it can be safely assumed that it did not sit well with Tech coach Paul Johnson.

This not-so-punctual behavior comes on the heels of Trojans linebacker Leonard Williams tweeting that El Paso is a shitty city.

I wonder which team the locals will be pulling for come gameday.
