BRO MOVE: Oregon Ducks Offering Free Football Tickets To UCC Students And Staff After Last Week’s Shooting

In the wake of last week’s Umpqua Community College campus shooting which led to the tragic deaths of nine people the University of Oregon has stepped up to try and provide a distraction in the form of free football tickets. As I’m sure you know by now the UCC shooting involved a 26-year-old whose name we will not mention killing nine people and injuring nine others during a campus-wide act of terrorism, a horrific murder spree that has completely rocked the Pacific Northwest and the Nation as a whole.

As the region begins to try and put this act of terrorism behind them and attempt to move on everyone is doing their part to step up and show UCC some support. The University of Oregon Ducks play the Washington State Cougars this weekend, and the school has set up a webpage on GoDucks.com where all staff and students of Umpqua Community College can sign up to receive free tickets to the football game:

On behalf of the University of Oregon Athletic Department, we want to invite you to attend the Oregon vs. Washington State Football game on October 10, 2015 at 3pm. After entering your information below, you will be e-mailed a promotional code that is good for up to 4 FREE TICKETS to this weekend’s game. Please call 541-346-5417 if you have any questions.

This is a BRO AS FUCK move from the University of Oregon Ducks, and I hope all the UCC students and staff take advantage of these free tickets to go and have a great Saturday night and try to block the past out of their minds for a few minutes (if that’s even possible). The current line is -17 Oregon so this game should be a fun one for the home crowd!
