Tyson Fury Won A Bunch Of Money After Placing A $300,000 Bet On Himself To Beat Wladimir Klitschko

As if defeating Wladimir Klitschko for the world heavyweight championship and then singing Aerosmith’s “Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” wasn’t fucking awesome enough, new champ Tyson Fury did something before stepping into the ring this past Saturday night that proved to be pretty smart.

That’s because he went all in on himself to win, throwing down over $301,000 US dollars on himself to walk away victorious with both the title belt and doubling his profit.

I mean, no one should really be that shocked that an athlete was cocky enough to bet on himself to win such a big fight, but that fact that Fury was ballsy enough to actually throw down over a quarter of a million of his own cash is pretty dope.

According to DailyMail, Fury not only walked away with $600,000 from the bet, but was also paid over $7.5 million US dollars for taking part in the bout and is now estimated to earn over $35 million from his success in Germany.

Entering the fight as a 4/1 underdog, walking away victorious and cashing the fuck out, Tyson Fury had a hell of a lot better weekend than any of us did.
