To Honor The Victims Of The Paris Attacks, Paris Saint-Germain Will Sport Special Jerseys For Their Next Two Matches

In a move that should be applauded, French soccer team Paris Saint-Germain will scrap their usual jersey sponsor, Emirates Airlines, and don jerseys that read, “Je Suis Paris” across them in their next two matches against Malmo in a Champions League match and versus Troyes in their league match.

“”

For those who aren’t fluent with the French language, the phrase translates to “I AM PARIS,” which is the club’s way of paying tribute to the victims of the heinous ISIS attacks on the city on Nov. 13th.

The team’s hope is that the message will build unity and support for the city as they pick themselves up and try to stand tall. Classy move, PSG and Emirates Airlines for agreeing to the switch for a couple of matches.
