The Golden State Warriors survived 10 fourth-quarter turnovers to eliminate the Denver Nuggets early this morning in a game so thrilling I don’t even regret feeling like absolute garbage after staying up to watch.
For some reason, TNT thought it would be a good idea to air footage of broadcaster Reggie Miller delivering a speech to the victorious locker room. Some would say his friendship with Warriors head coach Mark Jackson is a conflict of interest. Others would say it’s a tremendous conflict of interest.
Well, ol’ Reggie must have forgotten the cameras were rolling because he wasted no time saying “shit” for the national audience. Jackson, who enjoys the Bible, wasn’t too happy about that bit of sin.
Others probably won’t be too pleased that Miller so flawlessly transitioned from impartial observer to one-sided motivational speaker. And still others probably aren’t too happy he’s calling games in the first place.
