Tim Duncan committed a foul early in Game 1, but since this is the NBA and no player has ever believed he committed a foul, he was contractually required to make an incredulous face at referee Mark Davis.
He really did a good job making it.
He did an even better job doing basketball things, going 9-for-10 from the field and dropping 21 points. Of course, Duncan rising to the moment isn’t surprising enough to elicit a similar look from fans.
