Former NFL All-Pro wide receiver Terrell Owens may not have been the easiest teammate to get along with during his tenure in the league, but, according to a filed complaint by a man named Arman, he isn’t all that nice off the gridiron, either.
Here’s the backstory.
Early this morning, Arman complained to cops about Owens shouting swear words and even throwing a coffee at him in a California Starbucks, verbally threatening him, leading to police looking for T.O. to see what really went down.
TMZ Sports was able to obtain the surveillance video of the entire incident, with Owens, who denied that he was the only one who threw coffee and was screaming expletives, actually telling the truth.
The vid showed Arman taunted T.O. with racist phrases and tossed his ‘bucks cup at the former wide receiver, too, dropping the line, “fucking knuckle-running, spear-chucking, monkey-ass looking motherfucker,” on Owens.
Arman continued with the use of the n-word, which, undoubtedly, led to Terrell being more than heated and justified for verbally attacking the jackass.
Trying to defend himself, TMZ tracked down Arman, who admitted that he was being “purposefully racist,” adding:
“I just wanted to make him mad and sad. I’m Middle Eastern and Muslim and not KKK. There’s freedom of speech but there’s not freedom of attack. He kicked me in the Starbucks.”
I don’t give a shit what this dude says, he’s a racist dick. Of course, he doesn’t want to be perceived that way, though, continuing to defend himself by telling TMZ in the same report:
“I don’t want my name to be ruined with all my African-American friends because that’s as racist as it gets. I come from a very politically active family and community who has fought for the rights of any and every group that has every been racially discriminated against.”
Cops are still investigating the entire incident, but it looks like Arman’s lucky he didn’t get knocked the fuck out by T.O., who, all things considered after watching the video, kept his more than most people would have, that’s for sure.
