What an incredible moment at the 2014 ESPYs. Stuart Scott’s Jimmy V Perseverance Award acceptance speech might go down in history as one of the greatest, most inspiring moments of Award Show oratory of all time. He had a national television audience (…and Twitter) choked up in tears giving a tremendous speech about his personal, seven-year battle with cancer. It’s the ultimate inspiration for anyone who is struggling through anything similar.

“You beat cancer by HOW you live, WHY you live, & in the manner in which you live.”

“Every day, I’m reminded that our life’s journey is really about the people that touch us.”

“Don’t ever give up.”

“I cannot leave my daughters”

What a class act. Live. Fight. Live.
