Everyone is freaking out this morning because the Dallas Cowboys lost a Monday Night Football game to the lowly Washington Redskins. What everyone should be freaking out about, however, is the impossible touchdown grab turned in by Dez Bryant.
Everything about it was spectacular, from the one-handed snag to the Stretch Armstrong impression to get over the goalline. It was peak skill combined with peak athleticism and it all happened so fast many missed the greatness. For example, I barely noticed the clean left-handed grab until the third replay because I was trying to figure out the physics behind the reach.
Not sure if there’s any defense for this. No, that’s not true. I know there’s no defense for this.
