How to guard an inbound pass as performed by Steve Lavin during a game

Bizarre coaching moment or just bizarre moment in general? Steve Lavin used a timeout to teach one of his players how to guard an inbound pass. He didn’t bother instructing him in the huddle but rather ran over to the sideline, grabbed the ball and shuffled his feet.

St. John’s went on to lose to the game 66-53 in part because their shooting was abysmal (35.6% from the field). Perhaps Lavin should concentrate more on shooting drills and less on, you know, public displays of wild gesticulation.
