Making its debut sometime in 2014 is this studio—ESPN's new, absolutely enormous, 10,000 square-foot home for SportsCenter. It cost around $25 million to build, and it's housed in a hanger that reportedly cost around $125 million. There are multiple anchor desks and what looks like dozens of touchscreens, all making it "easier for viewers to consume content," as Steve Levy explains. (Which, I dunno, is questionable. Have you ever found an ESPN studio update affect your viewing habits? Don't you just think, "Oh look, they remodeled," and then turn down the volume?)
I like the guy creeping on the stairs.
